The end of the year is always a good time to catch up on any new albums I might have missed because all of the music blogs are posting their favorites from the past twelve months.
My workouts are going to be interesting this week! I have a ton of new music dumped into a playlist that I’m going to be putting on shuffle. To be honest I have around 80GB of music on my computer… I could put my whole library on shuffle and find something new every time I’m sure. Anyway, maybe this will spark my interest in creating a few new workout playlists to share!
Just a few of the artists I’ll be sweating to: Starlight Girls, Flashing Red Lights, I Break Horses, Yung Life, Is Tropical, The Raveonettes, Derek Piotr, Future Islands (<3), Class Actress, Nurses, Tune Yards, and a fuckton more, srsly. It’s not necessarily all high energy music but it will keep my mind off of the task at hand and make the workouts fly by!
I wan’t to feel good for New Years Eve! I have no illusions about loosing a certain amount of weight or body fat between now and the weekend. I just want to feel like I haven’t given up on the promise I made myself back in the summer, and like I’m getting a head start on a few of the resolutions I’ll be making for 2012. Nothin’ wrong with that!
I’m trying to stay motivated this time! Today is the first day I’ve been able to work out in ages (due to being sick/hungover/depressed). And I wan’t to keep the momentum going. So post some recommendations up in hurrr, okay?
I am finally back to counting calories & trying to eat as clean as possible… Today I’m way over sugar & carbs for the day. Whooops.
I have been sick (and in bed) for the past week. As soon as I feel better I’m going to start working out again… now that I have no job (another whoops) I will have time to focus on my diet & fitness & school starting in Jan (if financial aid comes through in time urghh…)! I’m actually going to enjoy being unemployed for a minute before I start stressing out about finding a new job that I will inevitably hate.
